Class 24

Initially built as a pilot order of 20 new type 2 locomotives the success of the class resulted in a total of 151 of these locos being built. Later versions had a headcode box in place of the disks of this model. Initially for the London Midland Region they were eventually to be found in many areas of the country during the 1960s. This locomotive model was built by Michael Whiteley.
